Overview

This policy explains how planningbirthday.com uses analytics, advertising services, local browser storage, cookies, and hosting infrastructure. It also explains the choices available to you.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Measurement ID G-10B7T9DJ2S, to understand how the site is used and improve its tools and content.

GA4 may process information such as pages visited, approximate visit duration, device and browser type, general interaction information, and approximate geographic location. Page addresses sent to GA4 contain only the site origin and path; query strings are removed to prevent user-entered values from being included.

Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 for analytics and advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, optional storage is denied by default. Before a visitor makes a choice, Google may receive cookieless pings that do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Visitors elsewhere receive the default granted setting but can change it at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer.

When Google's European regulations message is active, it provides a Google-certified consent management platform and communicates advertising choices through the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. If that message is temporarily unavailable, this site keeps a limited first-party preference panel as a fallback; the fallback does not replace the certified framework for personalized advertising.

Fallback choices are stored in local browser storage under __consent for up to 13 months. A short-lived _ucountry cookie stores the Cloudflare country code for up to one hour so the site can apply the correct regional experience. Google's consent platform may separately store and communicate the choices required by its certified framework.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, Publisher ID ca-pub-4306979469592115, for site verification and advertising services. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, targeting, and fraud prevention.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, only non-personalized ads are served before advertising consent is granted. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied until the visitor chooses to allow them. Consent Mode v2 communicates these choices to Google.

Hosting and security

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network and request information needed to deliver and protect the site, which can include IP addresses and security-related request metadata. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Use the Cookie Preferences control in any page footer to reopen Google's consent choices when its certified platform is available. If it is unavailable, the control opens the site's fallback settings for analytics and advertising storage. Changes take effect immediately and do not require a page refresh.

You can also clear site data in your browser. Doing so removes your saved preference, and the site will ask again when required for your region.
